Your monitors are the best light in the room.
Monitor Glow turns your screens into soft, colored lighting for video calls, streams and late nights. Pick a scene, press a shortcut, look great on camera.
What it does
Lighting you design, not a color picker.
Everything a ring light or LED strip does, using the screens already on your desk.
17 scenes, plus yours
Studio White, Golden Hour, Vaporwave, Northern Lights, Candlelight and more. Save any look, and share it with friends as a code.
Ten living effects
Flowing northern lights, a slow breathing pulse, a drifting palette or a warm candle flicker. Speed and depth are adjustable.
Lights up when you go live
Turns on by itself when Zoom, Teams, Discord or OBS starts your camera, and off again when the call ends.
Music sync
The glow pulses with whatever your PC is playing. Works on top of every effect.
Screen Match
Play a game or film on one monitor and the glow follows its colors, like a TV with Ambilight.
Ring light mode
A glowing frame around the edge of the screen, hard or softly faded. Your call stays visible and clickable in the middle.
Real white light
Dial in a color temperature from candle-warm to daylight-cool for natural skin tones on camera.
Every monitor
Light one screen or all of them. Offset the effect per monitor so a rainbow sweeps across your desk.
Stays out of the way
Lives in the system tray, fades in and out smoothly, turns itself off with a sleep timer, and remembers your settings.
Global shortcuts
Light on mid-call, without leaving the call.
Shortcuts work from any app. You can change the on/off shortcut in Settings.

FAQ
Questions
Does it work with Zoom, Teams, Discord and OBS?
Yes. Monitor Glow doesn't touch your camera or your call app. It only lights your screens, so it works with any app. Use Ring light mode if you need to see the call while the glow is on.
Can it turn on by itself when I join a call?
Yes. Turn on "Turn the glow on when my camera turns on" in Settings. Monitor Glow notices when any app starts your webcam and switches the light on, then off again when the camera stops. It never looks at or records the camera image.
Is it really free?
Yes. No trial, no account, no ads, and it doesn't collect any data.
Will it be too bright?
You set the brightness from 5% to 100%, and Ctrl + Alt + ↑ / ↓ adjusts it on the fly. Warm white at around 40% is a good start for evening calls.
How do I turn it off when the whole screen is lit?
Press Ctrl + Alt + L, press Esc, or double-click the glow to bring back the control window.
How do I uninstall it?
Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Monitor Glow and choose Uninstall. Your settings are removed too.
